Solar Abilities

Golden Gun – Marksman: Golden Gun – Marksman will summon a rapid firing flaming pistol in your hands that will disintegrate enemies with Solar Light. Marksman increases the precision damage, overpenetrate your targets, and summon Orbs of Power when you land those precision hits.
Blade Barrage: Blade Barrage will let you jump into the air and throw Solar-charged exploding knives.
Weighted Throwing Knife: Weighted Throwing Knife will throw a flaming knife that does increased precision damage to targets upon hit. If they’re scorched, it will cause them to ignite. Precision Final Blows with the Weighted Throwing Knife recharge your class ability immediately.
Acrobat’s Dodge: Acrobat’s Dodge leaps into the air and creates a radiant well, increasing weapon damage.
Tripmine Grenade: Tripmine Grenades will stick to any surface exploding when an enemy passes through its trigger.

Solar Aspects

Knock ‘Em Down: All your Solar Supers will be boosted. Golden Gun – Marksman will have increased duration and damage resistance. Golden Gun – Deadshot will have increased duration. Blade Barrage will launch more projectiles. When radiant, dealing Final Blows with your the Throwing Knife you have equipped will restore your melee energy in full.
On Your Mark: Precision Final Blows give you and your Fireteam faster reload speeds and increased weapon handling. This can stack up to 3 times. Use your class ability to get full stacks of On Your Mark immediately.

Solar Fragments

Ember of Ashes: More scorched stacks applied on targets.
Ember of Beams: The projectiles from your Solar Supers have better target acquisition.
Ember of Char: Solar ignitions will spread scorch to targets who are infected.
Ember of Combustion: Using your Solar Supers, Final Blows will cause targets to ignite.
Ember of Eruption: Solar ignitions area of effect are increased.

Weapons & Armor

Ace of Spades: You get increased reload speeds every time you do Precision Kills with this weapon. Targets also explode upon Precision Kills and deal Solar damage to nearby enemies.
Sunshot: Killing enemies with this weapon will cause them to explode in Solar Energy.
Celestial Nighthawk: Golden Gun is modified to fire a single-shot instead that deals high damage. Final Blows with that shot will make targets explode and give you Solar Energy.
Shards of Galanor: Attacks with Blade Barrage refunds Super Energy after the Solar Super ends.

Mods

Classy Restoration: Your Solar class abilities will grant restoration upon activating.
Overload Trace Rifles: Repeated fire from your Trace Rifle will stun targets. Targets will also have delayed ability energy regeneration and have less damage output.
Revitalizing Blast: Champions ignite upon being stunned and clears your shield stun.
Solar Fulmination: Ignitions have better radius and do increased damage.
Withering Heat: Damage caused by Solar abilities weakens Champions for a duration.

Best Destiny 2 Solar 3.0 Hunter Solar Supers

When it comes to Super Solar abilities you have three choices. The Blade Barrage launches exploding projectiles at your enemies and some of your equipment can enhance the effect. You have two choices in Golden Guns, Deadshot and Marksman. The difference between the two is that Deadshot prioritizes rapid-firing and gives you more Golden Gun ammo if you cause ignitions. Marksman is more about precision damage that creates you Orbs of Power.

Best Destiny 2 Solar 3.0 Hunter Class Abilities

You can choose from Marksman’s Dodge, Gambler’s Dodge, or Acrobat’s Dodge. We’ve already seen what Marksman’s and Gambler’s Dodge do, but the new class ability is the Acrobat’s Dodge which lets you leap into the air and land creating a Radiant well that increases weapon damage. You could either go for Acrobat’s Dodge or Gambler’s Dodge which recharges melee ability when dodging near enemies.

Best Destiny 2 Solar 3.0 Hunter Movement Abilities

We recommend going with the Weighted Throwing Knife since it deals extra precision damage and adds ignition to targets who are scorched. A lot of your abilities for Solar 3.0 Hunter build will revolve around ignition. The Lightweight Knife is good if you’re aiming to be Radiant quickly.
