White chocolate and peppermint to the rescue!

There are certain things I really love about this time of year. The crispness of the air, the smell of a fresh pine tree, baking Christmas cookies and socializing with friends are all wonderful things to enjoy in December. But, sitting down in the evening in front of a roaring fire with a delicious Christmas co*cktail is probably the best ending to a chaotic day I could possibly ask for this month!

I really enjoy seasonal co*cktail recipes. A light and fruity daiquiri in the summer is perfect for a hot summer day. However, come winter I want a co*cktail that is going to warm me up, not cool me off! This Christmas co*cktail combines two of my favorite things into one delicious beverage: white chocolate and peppermint! Add a splash of vodka and Godiva white chocolate liquor to some cream and peppermint schnapps. It's a quick and easy Christmas co*cktail to take the chill off your winter day.

Creamy white chocolate and refreshing peppermint combine in this delicious Christmas co*cktail recipe that takes only minutes to make!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • ½ oz peppermint Schnapps
  • 2 oz white chocolate liquor
  • splash of milk or cream to add to drink
  • whipped cream for topping
  • 1 crushed candy cane

Instructions

  1. Combine vodka, Schnapps, white chocolate liquor and milk//cream in a shaker
  2. Shake til combined and smooth
  3. Pour into glass, add ice and top with whipped cream
  4. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes
