What order to cook vegetables in stir-fries

After you have sautéd your aromatics such as onions and garlic, you then sauté the vegetables from the one that is the hardest to the softest. For example, if you are stir-frying carrots, bell peppers and broccoli, you should stir fry the carrots first then broccoli and peppers. That said, there are no hard rules to this method, it just makes sense to cook the crunchiest vegetables first.
